Well, this is like the 4th fly tie. I cant even see what im doing as i go along. I take pictures after each step and look at them on the phone camera to make sure im in the area. I cant even imagine trying to get a leader into this??
Any inputs, suggestions about anything even remotely associated will be greatly appreciated.

Texas, lol ya no trout here. That's been my drawback. No, I'm heading in two directions, Little MO in Arkansas and Beavers bend in Ok. Although I'm 2 and half years from retirenent, I'm heading straight Northwest and Northeast fish with you big boys, lol.
I already have one setup. It's an 8 N half 6wt with wf line I got at Bass Pro. I use it around here for bass N pan.
I'm not sure how big the Little MO is as far as rivers. It's probly more like, well, I don't know. It's flow come from a damped lake in Murfreesboro Ark.
Oris Recon 425? The setup I checked was 632.

My fishing will be, rivers, creeks, streams, no much still. Species for this rod will be Trout.
My experience level is somewhere above begginning. I have fly fished before, alot in NH. My military career took me around the world so after NH i didnt do much. I dabbled some in SD.
My casting skill is, i can get it on the water at about 30-40 feet if i have a clear back cast. I roll cast ok. My skills are there, just very rusty, very very rusty.
Oh and yes all wading, maybe someday a kayak. Im not into boats.

Ok, Rookie question number two. Im pretty sure i know what hackle is, and i know i need to get some, however, everytime i go to a supplier (online) i dont know where to look for it at. Is it natural, synsetic? Body, thorax, wing. Every supplier puts it or calls it something else.
Also is Hackle---- broken down into different types, ie grizzly, brown, etc etc. let me put it this way, is hackle the Heading and broken down into types and colors or is there a difference, other then color between Grizzly, Brown, tan, etc.
Thanks much
Yall are awesome

Don't know what stores you have there, but in Texas we have The Academy Sports. They have several in that price range. I'm sure Dicks and Sports Authority are the same. They all compete. Look them up online then have the store order it.
