Hi, guys,

Its is me again Radoslav Kiskinov the Shark writing from BG , introducing the new fly of mine.

 

Mayfly

It is a mayfly, absolutly efective fly wich I use a lot in Zlatna Panega river.

Here are the materials:

 

Hook: #10 - #12

Thread: 6/0, tan

Wings: 2 CDC feathers

Tail: three fibres olive hackle

Body: from the thread

Rib: Fibre of dyed olive goose wing feather

Thoraks: dubing from a CDC feather

Hackle: olive

I tie my small dries the same way but without tail so they imitate midges i guess. I tie them on hooks 18-20 in brown and gray. Graylings like them very much tongue.gif . Dries tied like this float well and are very visible i think rado will agree.

Hi, Rado, that's a lovely fly, some very desirable water and a beautiful brownie.

Hi Rado, I always enjoy looking at your flies, and also appreciate your tying instructions. From what I’ve seen Bulgarian trout sure are pretty and the flies that catch them work very well. I’m watching to see more, and thanks for sharing.

Again Rado, very nice. I appreciate your very informative posts with great looking flies, descriptions and nice photos of enviable waters that are quite exotic to most of us in this North American dominated forum. Keep posting.
