Guest Report post Posted March 16, 2004 OSD, if you look at them they appear to be antique bass flies. One may be a parmachene belle, but I do not know a lot of the old names. john

Guest Report post Posted March 16, 2004 Try contacting the Worth Company, they produced many such flies years ago, and may be able to help you, or send you to someone who can. Worth Company PO BOX 88 Stevens Point, WI 54481 www.worthco.com
Guest Report post Posted March 16, 2004 They look like steelhead flies to me. Someone here who knows about steelhead names..if they are steelhead should be able to name them....There are books on this but it may take you too much time and if you don't have the books it might be hard to check them out unless you have access to them. Guest Report post Posted March 16, 2004 I am no expert by any means, but one fly in particular looks very much like an Adirndack pattern I saw several years ago....could these be regional collections such as the Adirondack Moths, etc?? Just a thought
