mouse6196 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 I have some "go to" flies that work when all else fails. About half of them are blue or purple. For steelhead, I often go to purple worms, and blue or purple yarn eggs when nothing else works. Might be some truth to it. I just go by past experience.
