This is the first picture with my brand new Nikon D300

There are a lot of new things to learn on this camera but i`m quite satisfied with my first photo with this camera.

Nice camera Terje. You should get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

 

Question about this fly: When you fish this pattern, do you treat the antron with anything to make it float? I love the construction of the fly. Simple, yet it does a beautiful job of imitating a range of insects.

Probably a ton of tungsten sink putty and xink when no ones watching, don't let the user name fool you :devil2: :hyst:

 

Terje - That sounds like a pretty serious line up of glass, only sounds reasonable considering the quality of the body

I put the fly in some tmc dry dip or use some cdc oil or tmc dry magic.

Then it floats really well and i can speed it up if i want to

I have to give the camera glass that it deserves ........ it is only a question of what i can afford in the long run ...... so it might take some time........

In truth I was interested to know myself

 

I couldn't help myself, you must be getting tired of the silly jokes buddy.

 

You would have been proud of me today I went fishing and fished the dry all day in less than ideal conditions (Landed 3 nice browns).

When you are a dry fly purist you have to be able to take some jokes, so that is no problem for me

I have had my share of jokes on nymph and streamer fishers so it´s only fair that i get some back

 

I´m proud of you fly fischa, you are heading in the right direction
