Old Hat 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2010 I hope this fly doesn't get lost in all the great flies being posted lately. I have been fishing a pattern similar (no cdc) to this for years and it is a super performer on both moving and stillwater. GREAT pattern flydoc! I first saw the floating PT in Fly Tyer mag many years ago (it works good as well) but have done better with a hares ear version. I hate tying with foam because if I lose a fly I feel like I have littered. This is one of only a select few (3 total) that I will tie with foam...because it is a real producer.
