2bonthewater 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2010 Both of these guys caught on the Death Stonefly.........this fly produces year in and year out......the biggest fish I hooked and battled for over 20 minutes before I popped the leader weighed over 30 pounds and took a black/orange death stonefly The spruce fly worked great with many strikes on that one.......I actually ran out of them........fish were big and strong this year.......I was fishing the salmon river the week before the FLOOD......
