Jeremi 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2011 I plan to make my first Great Lakes steelhead trip i 2011. Looong over due in might add. My favorite streamer for trout is John Barr's Meat Whistle. Does anyone fish them for steelhead? Like pink, blue, fushia, purple? This pattern is awsome. Seems like it would work great swinging for steel. Not that I know much about steelies. The fly has GREAT movement!! If I had any materials in those colors i would whip a few up and post picks. For trout I fish white, black, olive, brown, YELLOW "hint, hint" and chartruse.
