C LeBo 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2012 Hello, Living here in Auberry, California, there are a LOT of baitcasters, and, not being bias, they often ruin your hope a noble, peaceful, catch and release fly fishing trip. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of some good fly-oriented waters in the Sierras, compared to the heavily pressured waters I usually fish. And I'm also willing for a good backpacking trip! Thank You and Tight Lines, Carson LeBoeuf

C LeBo 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2012 The WHOLE ENCHILADA on Fly Fishing the Sierras... http://www.flytyingf...showtopic=67328 Thanks imx and PlanetTrout, but unfortunately with being 14 years old my fishing range is quite small, restricted to the west side of the Sierras. But nevertheless, I appreciate the information! Thank You and Tight Lines, Carson LeBoeuf

sherstone 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2012 Hi, Besides Steven Ojai's site, I also sometimes refer to the Eco Anglers site, My link. Search 'habitat': Habitat, for locations. Tho' I didn't search near your area, it's worth a try. Good luck, Sherrill
