So there seem to be a great number of very knowledgeable folks here and maybe I can get some information on this topic. A search on the internet is inconclusive on this one. The life span of an adult Dragon Fly differs with the site visited, can anyone tell me the average for the adult Dragon Fly to swoop and catch it's buggy dinners and just be admired for the amazing thing it is?

Thank you Hans, you got the point. The whole thing is so 'neat' that it just doesn't seem quite right to end the ty with a turned down raw end wire crimped and glued. Funny the original instructions didn't address it isn't it? Wonder what is going to happen when it's cast? Thank you for you replies to my dilemma.

So I found this really kool pattern and try it but I do not know what to do with the twisted wire after I have created the lovely 'whorl' of deer hair? What do I do with it? Help please?
