HI THERE IM LOOKING TO BUY A FEW VERY HIGH QUALITY MINK PELTS TO USE ON MY FRY PATTERNS - INPARTICLUAR WHITE, GREY, LIGHT BROWN AND BLACK -IM LOOKING FOR PELTS WITH AS LONG A FUR LENGTH AS POSSIBLE TO GIVE THE PATTERNS THE GREATEST MOVEMENT IN THE WATER - IN THE U.K. (SURPRISE SURPRISE WE HAVE LIMITED SUPPLIERS, THEY ONLY SELL TINY STIPS AND ARE USUALLY POOR QUALITY SHORT FUR BUT AS ALWAYS FOR TOP PRICES) - CAN ANYONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION OF A QUALITY SUPPLIER OF PELTS THAT THEY USE A sincere thanks in advance for any and all advice :headbang:

Hi Frank many thks for your reply - your correct those flies are 100% identical as 1 and the same. Out of interest apart from ez and corsair braid what other makes are there out there available in the u.s? best rgds LL

Hi to all - i must confess that whilst this is my 1st post on the forum - i have spent quite some time "lurking in the shadows" spending much time reading many of the existing threads and drooling over some of the flies tied by fourm members. I live in the u.k. and ill be the 1st to admit im envious of the sheer choice you guys have in terms of materials etc which for one reason or another are just not avialble to us in the u.k. and to that end i need your help plse. A friend recently gave me some fantastic flies he had purchased whilst over in the states a "peanut bunker", "baby bunker" - i think, and a sand eel. 1st pic of the Peanut bunker - i would love to know what braid is used in the tying - its not e-z and not corsair (the only 2 types availble over here) - all i can say is its VERY coarse, hard wearing and tough. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb263/l...71_edited-1.jpg 2nd and 3rd pics - again i need help on what make of braids are used - both are completely different from 1 another and again neither are corsair or e-z.
