  3. I'm in BC (Canada). If you want a truly Western fly, I'll do up 13 Tom Thumbs.
  4. Whenever you get them out is cool. Tell your daughter to take the money to Denver, they accept it there, and the way the dollar is bouncing around now, if she plays it right, the Canadian one could be worth $1.05 US or more. (It is pegged at $.981 US today)
  5. How are you defining "west". I live on the pacific coast, so for me west is Japan. West of the Rockies? Montana, Idaho, Alberta?
  6. I've got a lake full of rainbows that will just love that damsel. Looks great.
  7. Just got mine today!! :yahoo: :yahoo: They are much to nice to fish!! Thanks to all the tiers, and mostly to wickedcarpenter.
  8. Mine went in the mail April 6. I hoped they'd be there by now, but cross border mail is a lot slower, I guess. Sorry, but i hope you have them in the next day or so

  11. I got mine today. Great ties everyone. I hope they will still fish well with all the drool I got on them :hyst: As I unpacked them from the envelope, I saw the many different fishing situations I could cover with this selection. I could build a pretty complete flybox, just duplicating these flies. Thanks everyone.
  12. They're done and will be in the mail tomorrow.
  13. No problem. The woven bodies are done already. As soon as the color preserver is dry, I will finish the dubbing and wing cases. Will be done tomorrow and in the mail Monday.
  14. I'm willing to tie up a dozen Golden Stone Nymphs, if there is still room
  15. Room for one more?? If so I'll do up a size 16 PMD comparadun style.
  16. Thanks Cagoldigger. These were killer in August on the Thompson in a size 6. Almost a "can't miss" fly. I'll be tying up a ton of these
  17. Does anyone have a recipe for a California Blonde? I had great success last summer with the fly, burt want to stock up and would prefer to tie my own.
  18. I thought about this overnight and in the spirit of a Canadian swap, I am changing my cold water fly to a purely Canadian fly-the Tom Thumb.
