This pattern have minimized on the use of dear hair which will be heavy once wet...it's not really that heavy and can cast quite a good distance on a wt10 for the 12cm model... I'm casting with wt8 on the 7cm model, easy to cast.... the foam will keep it float forever.. kept the head in dear hair so i could do some dive action when strip hard. Cheers..

Yes, I have other pattern also in fusing the foam... pattern like popping frog, Yusaku Crease fly, and soon there is a new pattern to be post... a fused body hopper and cricket. Yusaku Crease Flies

If you are using a hard tape wing... it will definitely twisting the tippet... that's why I use only fibers or flashabou.
