  3. cencalfly have you heard of kirman lake, in the bridgeport area? the local paper is calling it a hot spot for large brook trout and lahontan cutthroat trout.They suggest to bring a float tube and the fly rod!!! use a hiking trail off sonora pass road. has anyone heard from troutraveler lately? I have sent him a message or two recently and no feedback, more than likely busy with the horse. he and I have been in swaps since the fall of 2003.

The santa ana winds started today,passed 2 new fires on the way home ,but thats what our neck of the woods , is about this time of the year. will, I originally was raised in the pittsburgh area, and truly miss the start of autmn, football ,fall colors etc. your shot at the "mystery box" is right around the corner.   15. Received a message from aroostookbasser, he's deep in the boonies of maine,on the trail of some bears. He's already had some success with the bears. The "mystery box" landed on saturday, his wife will mail it out very shortly. He sends his best and continues to be all pumped up, about our swap. Gage, I guess you know who's next on the bubble, you seem to be ready, as well as others. We certainly have an awesome thing going on , and it seems to get "more better and more better!!!"   17. This is definitely a 'can't miss" fly tying magazine. I have every issue and look forward to checking out the latest issue. Awesome job Will, this forum is something else. Take it from me, since I have seen a lot of the flies in the "mystery swap boxes"Alll you will see is a great variety of quality flies made by some talented fliers, then the problem comes up, which should I take and replace.
