  1. Well...figured I'd post a pic of what i'm sending. For my first fly pic, I'm pleasantly surprised :) . I guess all the tips I've read have been sinking in...

Anyways, I didn't get too creative with this one. I'm still playing it safe since I'm new to swaps and suffer from "fly envy". :(

The body is Fly Fur with Krystal Flash highlights. I did tie these on stainless hooks so you coastal guys can feel free to do your worst!

  2. Graham...

Lexan = Acrylic = something I work with every day.

I would think I could bend clear lexan the same way I bend acrylic. Basically it just lays over a straight heating element I have mounted just below the surface of my bending table til it starts to soften, then I just bend it up 90 degrees and hold it for a minute til it hardens...

I would imagine you know some glazers or plastic places that could do it for you out there in La La land..

    Fishy. :D

  3. The "tips" are clean plastic screw on tips for caulk tubes that I use at work. They make great egg/glo bug dispenser tools and can be used for many other things as well. Half hitch tool, hackle guard, bullet head tool, they work well for packing deer hair when spinning, etc etc.

hmm.....I may have found a market for my stuff?

  4. Fatman......ask Day5 for help or I believe there is a tutorial on using a empty ball point pen for a egg gun somewhere on the site here.

Day5...Don't worry bout the shipping...gimme a few days (or weeks, I'm so absent minded) and I'll send you 50 or so. We'll work out something later :D

  5. Hey all....

Just got done doing some posting and reposting to another site (non flyfishing related) that I used to belong to and have therefore opened some old wounds that were best left untouched. It really cheers me up that in here a group of complete strangers are passing a package around the entire U.S. and happilly filling it with much more than they have taken from it. Thanks for renewing my faith in my fellow man! :D

So, who got the dubbing tool, who got the book and who has taken and/or used some of the tips I put in the box? I'm curious.

    All the best...

  6. Hey hey heyyyyyyy

Please don't take that as a complaint my friend. I had a ball digging through and checking out all the goodies. I know lots of guys down the line are gonna be thrilled! :yahoo:
