I was wondering as a beginner at tying, what is a good early season fly to tie up, for northern virginia streams.. I have been told a Olive Caddis and or a Brown Caddis

Just recently got into fly fishing pretty well, and starting tying here soon. Kit ordered, and materials are here, just need to start! I'm located in the northern Virginia area. Any beginners advice welcome!
