Really was a tough decision to give it up for a while, but I lost all my tying materials to moths and really did not have the money at the time to replace everything. Back in the day I tied commercially for 3 different shops, so I lost quite a bit in dollar value. I had my own shop for about 8 years. Where I live it was a tough go to make it solely on fly fishing so I also sold all types of fishing tackle. Believe me it is really great to be back at it.

Hi everyone. Just located this site this evening. I fly fished since back in the late 70's. Got away from it for a few years and just started back up last year. Tied flies also since the late 70's. Being away from it all for a while it makes it hard to get caught up on the newer materials and patterns that are out there now. Think I will learn a lot from this site
