I, too, love the Little Tunny. I go to Harkers Island the last weekend of October every year and get to fish with some of the best people in the world while i'm there. Fishing for trout in GA (the land of my birth) i never saw my backing once i put the line of the reel. Hook one of them, line's gone in about 12 seconds. Here's one from last year.
I like reds and bones, too, but i really, really want to tangle with a 'poon on a fly. The first time i saw a picture of that fish, i didn't think it was real. I thought it was a photoshopped shiner or something. I saw my first live tarpon last summer off St. Simon's - jumped right in front of the boat while we were chasing reds. I must hook into one of those fish.
