  1. Thanks for looking. I have a blow up of the vice. It shows one. I had a 2005 Master and I do not think it had one either. The vice works fine. Just wanted to go threw it. Do you have an older Renzetti Master? If so, is there a O ring on the end cap screw? My diagram for the Master shows one. I put one on and just seems to big. It fits in, but the screw does not sit nice an flush.
  2. One more question. Is there a small washer behind the roatry tension knob. This is the bigger black knob whish adjusts the tension of the vice. Just want to set this vice up with all its parts. Thanks
  3. Hi guys, I have been fly tying and fly fishing for a year and a half. I love them both. Like most of you I have been threw a few fly tying vices. I had a HMH, Renzetti Travelers, Presentations and Master. All good vices. I love the rotary function alot on the Renzetti's. The HMH vices are solid and you can crank on them for spinning deer hair. I found the Renzeti Travelers and Presentations a little weak when cranking down for deer hair. And their jaws do not hold tight as the Masters jaws do. I used thumb screws on the Travelers and Presentations. I had one Presentation with the cam jaws and was not happy with them. Seems like the lever on the cam Presentation works it was loose? I also started with pedastal vices. I bought a c-clamp travler a while ago and loved the holding ability of the c-clamp. It almost frees up my left hand, I do not have to hold the vice as hard as I do when tying with a pedastal. I just bought an older Renzetti Master series c-clamp vice. Serial #2701. My question is for those who have the older Master vices withinthe same serial number as I, is there an O ring fo the end cap screw? If so, would it be the same size as the new Master O ring? And am looking for an older Renzetti Master base and stem that would be correct for my vice. I am not sure if these bases had hook pockets or not. I went back to the Master vice because the cam jaws really hold tight! And there is hardly any play when cranking down on it for tying. The newer Travler vies have some play and so do the newer Presentations. The hinge screw has some wear inside the screw where the allen wrench goes. I guess this is normal wear from being used. I like the finish on it as well. These older Master vices have a brighter finish. I hope this will be the last vice I buy for a real long time. A vices job is to hold the hook, and this vice does and does it well. It is hard to find the "perfect" vice. I canget all worked up for fly tying vices. I spent lots of money on them. Hope to put an end to my buying with this older Master vice. I am going to consentrate on my fly tying not how good the vice looks. Thanks
