Hello from east of OKC. My name is Rick, I have been involved with fly fishing / tying for more years than I care to tell. For years people thought I had my right ear pierced, but it was due to a bad cast and the hook went through the lower part of the right ear. My then 12 year old son was on the other end trying his best to get that line to loop out in front of him. Hw (now 27) stll says he is sorry. We moved to OKC in "99" from Cincinnati, I live within 11miles of 3 lakes and have fished them all. However last year I found out about the trout program here and have been getting back into tying and going fishing every other week with a friend. We also found a great sunfish lake only 50 miles away and tried it last week. I love those little orange and green fish. I cought two in a row that went over 14 oz. Loads of fun on a 7' 4 wt. Any way I will poke around the forums and see what is here, there appears to be a great deal of information... Oh if anyone has a Nor Vise they want to part with please email me. I am looking, I just have a little trouble spendin' over $200 for a vise... The photo is from a trip a friend took to beavers bend, needless to say he had a good day.
