how do I know if I have pm's and how do I open them? I don't see any place for checking messages

just bought the benchside introduction to fly tying by ted leeson and jim schollmeyer on Friday at flyfishers in state college also seen it at barnes and noble book store paid $42.95 for it. flyfishers felt that was the best book for me to buy since I am just getting started. and I must say it sure is a great book, very very helpful. real simple to understand step by step instructions and techniques. I am pleased with it.

hello to all. I am from centre couty, pa. I am locate right on spring creek. I am just getting into this fly fishing and tying. I have been fishing for trout all my life. and always favored using spoons and rooster tails. but about 8 years ago my wife went shopping at cabelas and bought me a fly fishing rod and reel for our anniversary and I just decided this spring I would like to start fly fishing and fly tying. I am gonna try and keep t simple for right now and stick to nymphs and streamers. I look forward to making and meeting a lot of new friends on here. I will need a lot of questions answered so I would like to thank ya'll for having me on here.
