Sundance

I live half the year in Lake Oswego, OR and half the year on the Madison River in MT. I have fly-fished since I was a kid and tied flies for more than 60 years. I fish mostly dry flies for trout on MT rivers and lakes and prefer greased line techniques for summer steelhead on the Deschutes.

Living on the Madison one gets to know it very, very well. I fish most days right in front of my house.

Over the years I have taught fly fishing, fly tying and done a bit of guiding. While I tie trout flies in the summer, my tying passion in the winter is full-dress Atlantic Salmon flies - which I have been at for about 10 years.
