I have fished since I was about 5yo on the River Avon in Ringwood, moved to Southampton and fished the local river Itchen, I then found big carp and started going all over the south and west UK for them, in 1990 my youngest son was born, sold all my carp gear and had fly fishing lessons with Orvis on the River Test, eventually stopped about 2008 and started lure fishing for Bass, had a stroke in 2014 and could hardly walk so got rid of all the Lure gear, early 2017 decided to go back to fly fishing and here I am 55 years old and still fishing.
