I’m kind of confused on the rules of fishing there whether or not I need to get a license on the Tennessee side it says under thirteen don’t need to get a license but I was reading an article and it says in the park under sixteen don’t need to get one?

That looks awesome.

Yooper you can get essentially the same thing as ep fibers from flytyersdungeon much cheaper, also a good place to get flash, and synthetic dubbings among other things.
I learned that unfortunately after I placed my order thanks though.

Ep fibers are spendy but they work i usually tie them in the 7-4 inch range on 2/0 or 5/0 hooks they caught me my first pike on the fly!!

Unless you are constantly stepping on, tangling in or knotting up your line, I don't see the need for a stripping basket. Just another doo-dad that you have to carry with you. And it takes up a HUGE amount of space hanging there on your belly.
Where, or what kind of fishing are you doing that you're ending up with a lot of line piled at your feet?
Wading in waist deep water with my commando heads the mono sinks so you can’t cast very far and pike fly fishing in general fishing off of docks the bank or a boat it almost always gets tangled.

I was reading how to do it on google it seems there are so many ways to do it I think I am going to do it with a dishpan, bungee cord, yoga mat and Bic pens any better ways or cheaper ways to do it?

I carry a fly shop with but then only end up using a few for trout I start off with a woolly bugger, hares Ear, copper john or Adams.
For pike I start with a 7 inch streamer and then down size if no action.

Ya it was a great time!!!

Remove from the tail bone and slice it down the middle and stretch it out on a board with nails and either salt or borax it and with the salt if it ever gets humid it well get wet again so I recommend borax.

We went Isle Royale This past weekend we had a great time sorry I dont have any pictures.
My younger brother while trolling caught a 23.10 pound laker which is his biggest to date unfortunately didnt get any action casting with the fly rod I didnt catch any thing but the weather was amazing 60s and sunny most of the time and ate lots of good food.

I cant figure out what grain wt to use with my 9 ft 9/10 wt single hand fly rod I well mainly be using it for lakers, salmon, pike and the like.
My question is for the final grain wt which for mine should be 375 is that the wt of the tip and commando head or just the head.
