Beautiful fly and no disrespect intended, but if I could offer a suggestion, as I understand what's special about this fly, it needs to fall through the water column, with a slow rocking back and forth, or spiraling down motion, sinking slowly with a movement/giving the impression of a badly injured minnow. If that rocking or spiraling wounded minnow effect is not achieved by the mallard breast feather wing, we have missed the reason to fish this fly. Of course, if you can get the injured minnow imitation/action, it will then be an unusually effective still water fly. Kindest Regards, Tim C.
