    My Email

Yeppers, Should be sending it out in the next couple of days.
  2. Get well soon. Hope all is better now!
  3. Here is what I did. I bought a big tackle box (Plano 777 Pro Tacklebox) that you see the bass pro's use. It has a upper part that stores stuff, pluss a large bin on the side for feathers, etc. Plus there is two "shelving" units that fit inside. I can carry a lot of stuff in it and it is easy to move things around. Plus, in a pinch, the door that folds down in front can be used to clamp my vice on. It works great. I attached a link down below. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...?_encoding=UTF8
  4. Those are kinda kewl.... I especially like the blue one. I think I will take out a 2nd and 3rd mortgage just so I can afford one... You guys are dating yourself with the song quotes
  5. Geez, Every geek out there knows to reposition the multidemsional array on the timeline so that it would intercept the data as a first solution. J/K....
  6. Hey guys, I was thinking the other day (always scary). I started to wonder about machine tied flies. Has anyone ever seen a fly tying machine? Do they make such a beast? The reason I ask is because when I look at the fly bins and see 1000 flies, I think to myself..."how are all of these made..." Just a thought.
  7. Hi folks! Here is a lightning bug variant that works really well on some spring creeks here in Oregon. Thought that I would share with you a pic (which are getting better). Pattern Hook: Tiemco 3761 #16, #18, #20 Thread: Tan or black Bead: Gold Tail: Hares ear or equivilent Abdomen: Flash Marabou or other wrapped in wire. Thorax: Hares ear or equivilent with guard hairs left in. Sorry about the spelling. Let me know what you think!
  8. Well, here they are, try not to laugh. Sorry for the quality of the pic. I am still learning how to use my camera... Please...all comments are welcome.
  9. DFIX... That is a great suggestion. I am going to try it and see how it looks. Fishinlk.... Thanks for the help. The ball on the end of the shank really helped. Now my biots are seperated. Would you folks mind if I posted some of my flies here so I can get some feedback? Thanks again for all the help...
  10. QUOTE (fishinlk @ Mar 30 2004, 07:39 PM) What does your pattern call for on legs? Thanks for the reply! The pattern I am using calls for crystal flash to be used. It says to tie it in with the ends pointing forward, then double them back and tie down (if that makes any sense). I may try something a little different tonight, using rubber legs instead of the crystal flash. However, the crystal flash makes for an attractive fly. Thanks for the tip on the biots. I will try that tonight.
  11. Hi Folks, Need some advice on tying the Copper John. I am tying #18 and #20's and having some difficulties with the goose biots and the legs. I cant seem to get my biots to stay split. They keep coming together after I tie them in. Should I tie them in seperately or at the same time? Also, the pattern, as you know, calls for the legs to be tied "down and back" (for lack of better term). However, when I try this, they always come out on top and stick straight out sideways. I understand it is hard to describe this, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
