RickZieger 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2023 Went out to a pond this am. The last time I was there the algae was out about 12 feet. I knew that it would be farther out after 4 weeks. So I took a 20 foot telescoping cane pole I have and dappled flies in the few holes there were in the pond. About 85 % of the pond is covered with clumps of algae. Got 17 gills and 8 crappie. Lost a bunch as they got in the algae and came off. I will not go back until we get a heavy rain that may wash some of the stuff out. Rick Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
