MTtyer 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 You may consider starting off tying some Clousers. It would take a few bucktails in different colors (about $3.00 each), some saltwater hooks, some barbell eyes, some head cement, and maybe a little crystal flash. There are plenty of step by step tying instructions on the web or post any questions and someone will be glad to guide you through. Good luck.

Guest Report post Posted November 5, 2006 For Clousers and Decievers, white, chartreuse and gray bucktail, some strung white Deceiver hackle and pearl christal flash. Dumbell eyes and 3/0 thread and hooks and you're good to go.
Crazyboy 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2006 Thanks I'm gonna give it a shot. What about tools besides a vise?

billb 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2006 Thanks I'm gonna give it a shot. What about tools besides a vise? Crazyboy: A pair of scissors and a thread bobbin are all you'll need beyond the vise and materials. Have fun! Bill
