Well, that photo looks like....

 

Sorry, it looked better when it was smaller.

 

Anyway, I saw an article in today's Kalamazoo Gazette about this new aquatic invader to the Great Lakes. It looked interesting, so I thought I'd tie one up and see how it looked. The article mentions that it could be a high-energy food source for perch and alewives, but I'd bet salmon or steelhead might go for it also.
