Frank G. Swarner III 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 Mike, Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear Nymphs are a good start. Natural and black are good colors, sizes 12-16. They are a good representation of the early black and brown stones. Beadhead caddis pupas can also be great stocked fish catchers. Chatreuse, Olive and Black work well. Don't forget about your wooly buggers!! They can pick up few fish fish also. OTHERS: -Tellico Nymph -Prince Nymph -Honey Bug -Black Nosed Dace I live in southeast PA - Downingtown. Where are you located? Chip
mcfly 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2004 I'm not sure what county you live in but many counties have an area where you can fish year round. Here in Lawrence you can fish by the Volant mill year round with artifical lures. Give you lots of practice for when the casts really count.
