CJB 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2007 Hey, question. How do you delete a photo from the gallery? This is my Crab. I had seen a photo of this fly and thought it was cool. It works great in the water that is stirred up or on a dark or over cast day. It's about three inches across. The eyes are 30 lb test about an inch long folded in half and melted the ends. Nothing special about the thread, we use regular sewing thread sealed with clear finger nail polish. The body is just hot glue blobbed on, and flattened out. The legs are just pieces for an old jig skirt. Seems like everything we fish for has teeth and flies are expendable and can be made in 5 minutes or less, so we don't get concerned about using special materials. stevemcn 0 Report post Posted November 8, 2007 That is a really cool looking simple fly. What size hook is that on? I'm gonna try that on some redfish when I'n next at the beach in SC.
