Guest Report post Posted December 20, 2007 This has been my most productive shrimp-type fly and I have tried many different patterns. This thing will outfish all of them Basically EP Fibers, hackle, some flash and epoxied bucktail for the head. 2/

SavannahFlies 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Hey all, new here and browsing through posts. Noticed this one, I went out a couple of days ago in Savannah and got 5 good sized Reds (one was almost 24") off of something like that fly (EDIT: the first fly not the second that shows a bunch of the same flies). It was olive and the tail was a bit shorter, added a few lil legs, and a weed/oyster guard looks a lot like a crab I just bounce it off the oysters. Can't wait to try it in Summer when they are really in shallow. Great forum!! glad to have found it. Anyone in Savannah area wants to come fishing on the boat send me a tell!! Peace, tight lines, and letumgo!
Fred H. 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2008 Here is a simple pattern that is hands down the best saltwater bait I have ever thrown. If you want to consistantly catch fish on your flyrod tie some of these and hold on tight.
