James Daly 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2008 Greetings all, I'm calling this Tequila Sunrise. It's a study in transitioning colors. LOL! In a recent post, Jens said something about leaving the inner tube 5-6mm longer. These are prefab tubes. Is there a way to remove the liner tube and replace it? Thanks for any help for the nubee!! For your critiques and amusement. -Jamie
bobfly 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2008 Looks fine. Is there any need to have a tiny little head on a fishing fly? There is a difference between big and oversized if you get my meaning. Bob

When you use these prefab metaltubes (slipstream e.g.) dont try to replace the inner tube it is not worth the efford or even possible. Instead use a thinner thread and some fewer turns.
