temno pivo 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2004 Going to tie some up in different colours for my trip to Slovenia, they look quick to tie, and I have bought loads of poly yarn to tie Gary Lafontaine emergent sparkle pupas. A great fly tyer. God bless him.
Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2004 Very productive pattern OSD i love using caddis in the big water below Mio they seem to hatch day and night down there, i've never added poly to them but will tie some up for memorial day SD
Guest Report post Posted May 16, 2004 Yes they are easy to tie and you can match the hatch just by changing the size hook, color of the thread and the color of the yarn. This time of year the black caddis are hatching in this part of the country To match it I would use a small size 16-18 hook black thread and a black wisp of sparkle yarn. OSD.
