HackleMeister 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2009 Hi All Last year a fellow showed me a fly that is called the Honey Bug. Simple fly made out of some type of chenille. Can anyone direct me to a shop that sells it? Thanks in advance.
rich5665 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2009 I found some info on Google. It appears the fly is an inchworm pattern using chenille that has been dyed green. There is a small fly shop in Lehigh PA that dyes the chenille. It looks to be a location specific fly, by that I mean it was part of the legend and lore of Lehigh PA. I also found an image for you, and a link to the shop http://www.bigmeadowsflyshop.com. Hope this helps
