So long as you buy a full neck so you can take feathers from right & left. Look for the curved ones so when tied, bend downward toward the hook. Check out the chinese necks from Wapsi. I personally prefer saddle hackle. as for the curve, It also important to point out that thw wings should curve in, or touch for presentation tying but for a fishing fly they should splay outward to increase the action of the fly.
