Guest Report post Posted November 11, 2004 The recent Pig Boat that was pictured recently gave me the idea for this fly. I wanted the fly to have the same awesome action of the Pig Boat without using all the strands of rubber. The Ostrich Herl collar and tail should look awesome in the water. The color possibilities of this fly are endless
MuskyOnTheFly 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 COOL! The cone head should give an awesome jigging action. -MuskyOnTheFly
Guest Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Wow! Now that's thinking outside the box! I'm trying to imagine what that could represent in the water, and I know that in Orange/Blue/Purple or some mixture of those, it would be a killer Salmon/Steelhead fly. CharlieD 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 Will, looks like it should be a great fly. Ostrich is some good stuff. And I agree with Fish-N-Chip, they should work great for Steelhead. Charlie
