Tailn'Jax 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2011 Ive never been to the upper reaches of the Rio Grande, but I have fished around Taos. There's lots of good fishing there. The areas I concetrated on there were the Red River, and where the Red dumps into the Rio Grande. Most of that fishing is super tight. This rivers flow through canyons and the places I fished were pretty rugged hikes in. I did well on beetles, caddis pupae and tiny nymphs. The San Juan is around there too.
