jhammer 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2011 Well, I had a nice trip today. I went fishing on the Maumee River. I caught a few nice fish and had a great time. I had a nice chunky little quillback on, but he took a leap of faith off of the hook as I was reaching for the phone for a picture. But, I did manage to land a drum and a crappie. All of the fish sure fought great, but my 8 weight made very quick work on the crappie hahaha! I know an 8 is a little too much for crappie, but I learned my lesson from years past to be prepared for big fish in that river.
