My first attempts at realistic flys

I absolutely have a lot of skill to gain. I figure this is a great hobby (another one) to try and maintain some motor skills as I get older. It beats building ships and things in light bulbs, I gave that one up after the first one (they are just as small but MUCH harder to work on).

 

So, here they are, as is.

 

Geee thanks, fellas for getting me involved in another darned hobby! My wife may have a word or two for you about that subject.

 

I will need to re-make the black widow with the new material from the wisk-broom and dust- pan from Family Dollar.

 

Next, I have a dragon fly on a long pin on my fly tie bench. ... and my stock of supplies is growing.. and growing... oh well.
