Mad Jack 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2012 Howdy from Cheyenne, Wyoming. I've been fishing badly for a couple decades, and tying fur and feathers onto hooks for the past 10 years or so...strictly as an amateur. I'm mortified by the deplorable stuff I tie, but damn if I don't catch the dumb fish despite myself. Even a broken clock is right once in a while. I have just about mastered the San Juan worm, but thought it might be a good idea to seek help for some more complex flies. Actually, I could probably use some pointers on the worm as well.... Glad to be here, see you on the river.
nick2011 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2012 hello fellow tyer,i once told myself a good fly is simply one that a fish is eager enough to bite..pretty flies are for the spectator..anyways happy tying
