bkatz1 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2013 This is my best EP fly to date (had 6 before this though...). I love tying these flies, they are easy to tie once you figure out your increments of EP. This is my best glass minnow, It works great in saltwater (snook, lady fish). This is my prototype Goby. It has weight on the bottom and worked very well on the Small mouth in Chicago this summer! I want to make a faster sinking one this spring for pre-spawn fish.

torchboy1661 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2013 Don't give any secret locations but where do you go fishing in Chicago? I live on the far north side (Rogers Park) and I am always looking for suggestions on where to fish. I have been hitting the Des Plaines River and some lakes in the Parks Department. I haven't fished the big 'ol Lake Mich. yet. I can't find a place near me that isn't over-crowded with cookouts. Also, are those your favorite patterns for Bass?
