mikeyl 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 this might seem like a dumb question but how do you tie copper wire in
pacres 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 Just take a length of wire, and lay it against the shank of the hook. Use a couple wraps to secure itto the hook, leave about 1/8 of an inch at the tag end of the wire exposed. Fold the exposed wire back over where you tied in the wire. Wrap over top of the folded wire. This will secure your wire very well. That's about it. hope that helps
ArkieFlyGuy 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2005 I tie copper in just like any other material. One trick is to make a 90 deg bend leaving a very small "tag" where you begin to tie in. This helps hold the wire in place while you start. You can break off the tag or flatten it and tie over it. Hope this helps. Hey, Copper... I see you looking here, too. This might make a good video to add to your site.
