Probably will toss a few small baitfish patterns to get deep as I doubt the bass will be hitting anything topside. Just a little more info for the weekend. mikechell 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 South Carolina, this time of year can be dynamite. If you're fishing a sunny, warmer than usual day, you might run into bass that are looking for nesting sites. Probably won't get any large females shallow, yet, but there could easily be a lot of males scouting around. And they'll be hungry.
