flyfishingmark 0 Report post Posted April 8, 2005 Hello Everyone! My name is Mark River McKenzie and I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I moved here from the West coast, where I was used to fishing large freestone rivers, like the Deschutes, the McKenzie and the Umpqua. I've been flyfishing since 1994 and tying just about as long. Got into tying thinking I would save money on flies...hahahaha, that's a rich joke for sure! javascript:emoticon(':hyst:') But I love to tie flies and stand in freestone rivers flinging flies. A great day is one with no wind, some shade, rises everywhere and an occasional fish to hand. I'm a solitary angler, but enjoy company on the way to and from my fishing destinations. I love to tie flies with others in small groups, but don't know anyone in the area, yet, that ties. Always looking to learn new fly patterns, new techniques and play with new materials.
