SBPatt 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2017 Just started throwing stuff on the hook with the intention of tying a Jingler Hacklestacker; not sure this is where I expected to end up. hook - Dai Riki 320 #12 thread - UTC 70 grey brown tail - Congo Hair brown rib - Uni-Stretch brown abdomen - dubbing tan loop - UTC 140 grey brown hackle - grizzly dyed tan wing - Congo Hair white thorax - hare's ear dark front hackle - partridge mash barb, start thread at 2/3 mark and wrap to bend tie in a clump of CH; trim butts, cover with thread tie in CH; fold, wrap to bend, trim (gap width) tie in rib dub thread/dub abdomen counter wrap rib; tie off/trim tie in loop and hackle divide/post wing dub thorax, finish at base of hackle/loop hook loop onto gallows, wrap hackle up(thorax width) and back down; tie off/trim stroke hackle fibers back add a little more dubbing in front of wing to set angle prep partridge; tie in by tip pull hackle forward; tie down, trim thread loop wrap partridge thru front part of hackle; tie off/trim, whip finish, SHHAN trim wing Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
