tctrout 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2017 I've been tying with a Stonfo Kaiman for years and finally got around to a vise review (sorry it took so long!). In this video, I give an overview of the Kaiman and talk about the qualities that make it unique, most notably its holding ability and unique head. I also show the Kaiman holding a size 5/0 hook down to a 32 (yes, that's correct!). Enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions about the vise, Tim
feathers5 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2017 Looks great, Tim. I think you should send me one to see how it ties Eastern trout and warm water flies.

rstaight 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2017 The largest I tie is 1/0 and I do tie 32. With out a doubt it will hold the hooks I use. It spins easily, with it in the inline position you could dub similar to what has been shown on a Nor-Vise. It appears very well made. I want one. At least with another vise I can put it in a drawer with the other 6 or 7 I have and wife won't know about it either. Nice video.
