Theres probably only one person here that can guess who I am.

It's all in the name! tongue.gif

I'll see if he picks it up then introduce myself.

Thats packing foam for the wings and head. I wish I could find the first one I ever used, the foam was absolutely shredded.

Just havin' a little fun!

That is a beautiful brown, what river? I was worried for a minute with your packing foam fly. I was tying flies at the expo and that was my showcase material for the day. I was hoping I wasnt totally clueless.

Welcome aboard.

John

I'm swarn to secrecy, if Shoe wants to let it out of the bag, thats up to him. (I was his guest that day)

I have a couple other recipes that use foam, just have to get to the bench this winter and whip some up.

My favorite so far is the "Emergant Sparkle Pupae". I'll try to get a pick and a recipe up. (sorry no foam)

Dinner time, be back soon.

Do you really use the airhead? I never really thought it would work around here. How do you fish it? As an attractor?

I would have guessed right, I remember seeing those flies with you this spring. I'm getting close to finishing all of my house projects. We'll float again soon I hope.

Kris says, I look better after a couple beers! bugeyes.gif

Not to me you don't . bugeyes.gif (Thank God) I'd rather take my chance with BDH's new look... LOL

That brown came from the "upper reaches" of a popular river. I'm somewhat reluctant to reveal it, since we have never seen another boat while fishing it. BUT, if you're so inclined, perhaps you can join us sometime. There are fish in there that make this one look small. sick.gif Right Mike?

As far as the Airhead, he made a believer out of me. This was during an ephoron hatch. After the score was Airhead 6 - me 1, he finally coughed one up. smile.gif

A little history on John, he's one of the most determined fishermen I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. Just watch out for his "indicator/spey cast. help.gif

Welcome aboard
