SBPatt 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 Thomas Magnusson's interesting take on a vintage pattern. hook Dai Riki 280 #8 thread - Danville 6/0 olive underbody - non-tox .025 rib - brassie wire chartreuse tail - guinea dyed bright olive abdomen - dubbing black shellback - Fyre Werks metallic ribbon chartreuse hackle - guinea dyed bright olive head - pheasant aftershaft dyed olive mash barb, wrap front 1/3 with non-tox; start thread, wrap to bend measure (gap width past bend) some guinea fibers; tie in/trim tie in wire tie in shellback dub thread/dub body to 3/4 mark pull shellback forward; tie down/trim rib body; helicopter end, cover with thread rough up the body tie in guinea by tip; wrap, tie off/trim create thread loop; wax insert aftershaft in loop, spin, moisten fibers/stroke back wrap head, tie off/trim, whip finish, SHHAN Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
