SBPatt 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2019 Notional tying sequence, but looking at pics on the interweb it's not too hard to figure out; change colors to suit your needs. hook - Dai Riki 300 #14 thread - MFC 6/0 purple shuck - Congo Hair brown rib - x-small wire silver abdomen - holo tinsel purple thorax - Ice Dub black peacock head - dubbing Hare's Ear underwing - deer hair legs - medium rubber brown wing - Congo Hair white overwing - 1mm foam white mash barb, start thread at 1/2 mark tie in CH and rib; wrap to bend and back tie in tinsel, wrap to shuck and back; tie off/trim counterwrap rib, helicopter end, cover with thread; trim shuck (shank length) tie in foam strip over eye repeat with CH dub thread/dub thorax clean a clump of deer hair; trim butts, measure (halfway down the abdomen), tie in dub head pull wing to the rear, over the head and tie down repeat with the foam tie in legs (feel free to dub these wraps, as seen on tv; seems like a waste of time to me) whip finish, SHHAN, trim legs, wing and overwing Regards, Scott Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
